Sports Injuries comprise a large proportion of the injuries treated at Keperra Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.

Injuries treated include:

  • Muscle Tears and Strains
  • Haemotomas ("Corks" / Muscular Bruising)
  • Ligament Tears and Strains
  • Joint Sprains (Knees, Ankles, Shoulders etc)

On presentation at Keperra Physiotherapy a detailed assessment will be conducted to diagnose your injury and determine the ideal treatment path to ensure return to your sport as soon as possible.

Treatment modalities used include soft tissue massage, ultrasound and interferential therapy, selected stretching, strength and endurance exercise programmes specific to your sport and fitness level, proprioceptive (balance) and co-ordination routines, plus graded training drills in preparation for return to playing.
