READY FOR THE FOOTY SEASON? OR NEED A LITTLE HELP?

Keen to get back to peak fitness so you can play this season?

Training for this season’s footy but carrying a niggling injury that hasn’t resolved?

Feeling tight and sore as a result of training?

Wanting some help to improve your flexibility and soreness?

Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic can help with all these concerns, providing treatment for both acute and long-term injuries, training advice and strategies for injury prevention. Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic has strong affiliations with West Arana Hills Rugby League Football Club, Ferny Grove Falcons AFL Club and Arana United Futsal Club.

The physiotherapists at Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic have a wealth of experience in treating sports injuries, with a particular interest in football. Practice Principal Chris Cameron has designed pre-season screening assessments for detection of fitness deficits likely to pre-dispose players to injury. These have been used by a number of football clubs over the years to reduce the incidence of injuries among players.

Our physiotherapists are skilled diagnosticians who will assess your injury or pain concerns to determine the cause and the best course of treatment to resolve them. Our treatment is heavily exercised-based, targeting the specific strengths and flexibility deficits you present with and ensuring all exercise and training is geared specifically to your player requirements.

Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic therapists can offer a range of advice on injury prevention, as well as stretching, strength and power programmes to prevent injury. We have good tips on how to minimise post-training and post-game soreness, as well as guidelines on optimal warm-up and cool-down routines.

Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic provides treatment for a wide variety of sports injuries, including acute ankle sprains, knee, shoulder and hip injuries, muscle tears and corks, ligament injuries, neck and back pain, and hand injuries. Physiotherapy is an important part of return to sport following surgeries such as ACL (knee) reconstructions, shoulder reconstructions, lower and upper limb fractures. We provide comprehensive graded rehabilitation programmes following these surgeries and major injuries. Our aim is to return players to the game in optimal time.

Our Physiotherapists also diagnose and treat a range of overuse injuries including plantar fasciitis, shin splints and patellar tendonitis. We treat a large number of sporting children and adolescents tailoring our treatment and exercise programmes to their age and sporting abilities.

If you would like to make an appointment to see one of our physiotherapists, please don’t hesitate to call Keperra Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic on +61 7 3855 1367.
