85% of the population will at some time in their lives experience back pain for which they seek treatment.

Neck and back pain constitute a large percentage of the injuries treated at Keperra Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic.  In addition, many patients present with arm or leg pain referred from their neck or back.  This referred pain may also be eliminated with physiotherapy treatment to the spine.

Neck and Back Pain is often caused by:

Physiotherapy treatment includes joint mobilizations to loosen stiff joints, soft tissue massage, trigger point therapy and stretching techniques to lengthen tight muscles, postural correction and graded exercise programmes to strengthen weak muscles and restore adequate core stability.

Physiotherapy will:

  • Reduce/ Eliminate pain
  • Restore Optimal function
  • Help prevent recurrence
  • Accelerate return to work
  • Ensure early return to sport
